The CANDEL Program is a working professionals Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) that is offered in partnership with Sonoma State University. The program is intended primarily for working professionals in P-12 or community college settings who wish to extend their leadership skills and practices. The program is cohort based and coursework can be completed in two years with dissertation work thereafter. Each cohort is enrolled fulltime in a common sequence of core classes that are held approximately every third Friday and Saturday during the academic year on the UC Davis campus. Program delivery methods include traditional classroom instruction as well as distance-learning components to further support working professionals' needs.

Tuesdays, 8:00 a.m.  Noon
Thursdays, 8:00 am - Noon
Fridays, 8:00 a.m.  Noon
Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This is a departmentally-based Graduate Program.
