Neuroscience is the study of nerve cells and the ways they are organized to form nervous systems that mediate behavior. Research interests include molecular biophysics of channels and receptors through motor control, neuroethology, retinal organization, development of visual systems, cortical organization, and cognitive functions. Students rotate through several laboratories prior to initiating their dissertation research. All students receive financial support.
M.S. offered only under special circumstances.
This program is an interdisciplinary Graduate Group.
