Degree Requirements
Students follow the degree requirements reflecting the year s/he was admitted or the most recent version below.Administrative Bylaws
Students gain advanced knowledge of American government and politics, comparative politics, international relations, methodology and political theory. Students graduate with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for professional research and teaching in political science.
While an M.A. degree may be obtained while pursuing a Ph.D. degree, only Ph.D. applications will be accepted. For more information on the M.A./J.D. degree, please contact the program.
