UC Davis' AGEP (Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate) Scholars summer program financially supports newly admitted graduate students in an 8-10 week research program for underrepresented students in STEM fields. In addition to mentored research, the AGEP Scholars program hosts weekly seminars for scholars, covering relevant topics for success in graduate school and research. Scholars are also encouraged to apply to the AGEP Advantage Program, consisting of a series of professional development seminars and workshops held during the academic year.

The UC Davis AGEP Scholars program benefits for entering graduate students include:

• Summer research stipend ($6,000)
• Mentored research program with faculty members
• Weekly seminars and workshops
• Advising and interaction with faculty, current graduate students, and other AGEP students
