Dear Graduate Students and Colleagues,

Yesterday, the Provost and Chancellor announced an update on Winter Quarter instruction.  I’m writing to provide information on how this will impact Graduate Center operations and Graduate Studies’ staff availability.

The Graduate Center will remain closed between Monday, January 3 through Friday, January 7. All Graduate Studies’ staff will be working remotely and will come back to work in-person on Monday, January 10. 

The Academic Services team will be available for remote advising the week of January 3-7 during the normal office hours: 9:00am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-4:00pm. To make an appointment, please go to the Graduate Studies’ advising calendar. To contact one of our staff members, please visit our website for contact details. 

In-person advising appointments, including bell ringing ceremonies, will be available starting January 10. Graduate Studies will continue to follow all health and safety guidelines, as well as UC Davis Campus Ready requirements.
