The University of California has partnered with Garnett-Powers & Associates (GPA) to broker the University of California Postdoctoral Scholar Benefits Plan (PSBP). This plan is a comprehensive package of benefits tailored to the needs of Postdoctoral Scholars and their families. Benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and voluntary long-term disability coverage.

To enroll in the benefit plans available, please visit the following website: http://www.garnett-powers.com/postdoc. You will find plan information, instructions and the on-line form allowing you to enroll in the plans you choose.

Enrollment Process

Step 1 (at Garnett-Powers website):
• Review the plan descriptions & make coverage choices
• Retrieve on-line enrollment form
• Complete the form on screen and click the “Create Printable Enrollment Form” and print the form.

Step 2 (at UC Davis):
• Sign the form, make a copy for your records, and send the signed original to HR/Campus Benefits, Attn: Postdoc Benefits Coordinator

A confirmation letter will be sent from Campus Benefits to your home verifying receipt and processing of the enrollment form.

Please note: Enrollment in PSBP is not complete until both steps have been completed.
