Postdoctoral scholars are highly-valued members of the research endeavor at UC Davis.  As the administrative home for postdoctoral scholars, Graduate Studies provides services and resources to support training and professional development opportunities.  We work in partnership with the Postdoctoral Scholars Association (PSA) and other units such as the Internship and Career Center, the University Writing Program, and the Office of Research to support programs and services for postdoctoral scholars. 

National Postdoctoral Association

is proud to be an institutional member of the National Postdoctoral Association! As a result, all UC Davis Postdocs are entitled to free individual affiliate membership in the National Postdoctoral Association - please establish your account using your UC Davis email address in order to be eligible.
The NPA offers a treasure trove of resources for postdoctoral scholars across the country, among which:
- Toolkits for organizing around resource, associations, and symposia
- Publications on topics such as institutional policies, gender equity, postdoc parents, and the quarterly newsletter, the PostDocket
- Webinars, as well as archived past webinars

The UC Davis Postdoctoral Association

The Postdoctoral Scholars Association at UC Davis is a dynamic group that creates community among the ~750 or so postdocs on our campuses. In addition to regular social events, the PSA organizes the annual Postdoctoral Symposium, Postdoc Excellence Awards, and regular Postdoc Travel Awards.
