Winter Break Resources for Graduate Students

Things will look a little different around campus during the winter break, but resources are still available for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. UC Davis will be closed December 25, 26, and 29, and January 1, for the winter holidays. Staffing is expected to be minimal December 27-28.

Below is more information about what graduate students can expect and what resources are available throughout winter break.

Walker Hall Closure and Graduate Studies Staff Availability

The Graduate Center at Walker Hall will be closed to the public from Monday December 18-Friday January 5. We will reopen on the first day of the Winter Instruction, Monday, January 8.

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Graduate Studies offices will be closed and staff will be away from their desks to attend the annual winter celebration.

Responses during the holiday season from Graduate Studies staff may be slow. If you anticipate needing to reach Graduate Studies, please start early; we appreciate your patience.
