University Financial Systems Information for Academic Graduate Students

UC Davis has three separate accounting systems: the Banner Student Information System (SIS), the Payroll System (UCPath), and Aggie Enterprise.  Each of these three financial systems is used to deliver student support to academic graduate students.

The most common types of financial transactions applicable to academic graduate students are:

Banner

Banner is the UC Davis Student Information System that gives the university administrators access to and control of student information. It holds student record information in a centralized database. The system controls, organizes and keeps secure the student data, admission information, course enrollment, final grades, and financial aid. Students interact with Banner via myucdavis.

MyAwards

  • Continuing and new students at UC Davis will be able to view and accept your financial aid (educational loans) using MyAwards.
  • MyAwards is administered by the Financial Aid Office

MyBill

MyBill is administered by Student Accounting. The following functions are available in the various sections of MyBill:

  • Student Account Center
    • Check your student account balance
    • Make a payment towards your balance
    • View your payment history
    • Store your payment methods for quick and easy payment
    • As a student, provide permission to others (parents, employers, etc) to view your bill and make payments
  • E-Billing
  • Payment Plan Management
    • Enroll in a payment plan so you can pay your balance in installments
    • View your current payment plan status
    • Make a payment toward one of your installments
    • Schedule future installment payments

GLACIER Nonresident Tax Compliance System

GLACIER is a secure online Nonresident Alien (NRA) tax compliance system that foreign visitors use to provide their immigrant and tax data to UC Davis. GLACIER helps determine tax residency, withholding rates, and income tax treaty eligibility. GLACIER also manages NRA paperwork, maintains NRA data, and prepares tax forms and required statements.

Direct Deposit

Payments made to students through Banner are eligible for direct deposit service through Student Accounting. Interested students can sign-up for this service online using their UCD Login ID and Kerberos password.
