Graduate Studies Commencement will take place on Thursday, June 9 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the University Credit Union Center.
Graduate Studies is excited to announce the Spring 2022 Commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 9. Eligible students for the ceremony have been notified, please visit the Commencement Information for Students page for more details about eligibility. Graduate Studies does not host a Fall Commencement Ceremony. The June 9 ceremony will not have a virtual participation option, but the ceremony will be livestreamed. The livestream link below will be active on June 9.

The final details about the 2022 Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony will be emailed on Monday, June 6.
- Student and faculty line-up and check-in is at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive promptly.
- Regalia is managed through the UC Davis Bookstore, if you have any questions please contact them directly. Graduate Studies does not have extra regalia onsite. If you need to request an emergency gown, please visit this link. Once distribution begins, you will be able to pick up and pay for your regalia on the lower level of the MU Campus Store.
- Collection tables will be available for drop offs after each ceremony onsite. Staff from Herff Jones will be onsite up to one hour past ceremony end time. If returning regalia after ceremony day, please bring back to the MU Campus store or post marked (for homeship orders) no later than June 23.
- All registered students will receive up to (4) guest tickets to attend the in-person ceremony. Ticket registration information was sent in the student confirmation email. Guest tickets are managed by the Aggie Ticket Box Office. If you need to request additional tickets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with how many tickets you would like to request.
Public Health and Safety
Graduate Studies plans all events in accordance with the Campus Ready guidance. The Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony will follow all university, county, and state public health guidelines, which are subject to change.
At this time, public health guidance, as well as campus policy, indicate face coverings are strongly recommended indoors, and all are welcome to wear them. Daily Symptom Surveys continue to be required as noted below, however vaccine status is not conditional for entry to this event. Should public health conditions shift, we will provide as much notice as possible to everyone. Graduates cannot participate in the 2022 Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony virtually, however, the event will be live-streamed.
If you are experiencing symptoms or are not approved to come on campus through Daily Symptom Survey results, you may not attend the event. Guests must also be approved to come on campus by the Daily Symptom Survey to attend or they can watch the event via live stream. If you are planning to participate as a graduate and cannot attend or feel uncomfortable attending, you may participate in our Spring 2023 ceremony. Please note that Graduate Studies does not host a fall commencement ceremony.
