All newly admitted graduate students are required to complete a Statement of Legal Residence (SLR) so that the Office of the University Registrar can determine whether you are eligible for California residency for tuition purposes. Only the UC Davis Residence Deputies are authorized to make an official determination of California residency status for that purpose.

What Constitutes California Residency?
International applicants are not eligible for California residency, and domestic applicants must meet specific California residency criteria.
