UC Davis Graduate Admissions Pathways (UCDGAP) is an eight-week summer research program that seeks to address the barriers that prevent full participation of under-represented minority (URM) students in graduate education and research careers. UCDGAP provides the opportunity for California State University undergraduates to research and learn from UC Davis faculty and graduate student mentors, with the intention of using the experience to pursue graduate degrees and professional training at UC Davis. This faculty-guided summer program teaches undergraduates scholars how to conduct research and develop professional skills in a variety of academic disciplines. Additionally, participants will learn more about graduate school and how to successfully choose a program and prepare for admissions.
UCDGAP welcomes all applicants from within the California State University system, including Black, African American, Chicanx/Latinx, and Native American students in our summer research program. Learn more about the program, its eligibility requirements and participant benefits.
